    stupid travel gurus all coming out of the woodwork to hate on Harden mad that their favorite player can’t stepback like he can and upset that if they tried it in pickup they’d trip over their own feet and sprain an ankle

    I see a Harden Rule Vol. 2 coming soon...

    Morey has got to find a way to get Pastor Kelly Scaletta on these podcasts and talk shows to school these clowns with that Rockets gospel he preaches on a daily basis

    I doubt it. You don't start targeting the MVP of the league like that. Especially on a move that he's been doing all year. Not to mention it's a move that LeBron also uses and his is never called a travel either.

    Currently, r/nba's top post is about Harden's travelling. The insinuation is that all of his stepbacks are travel. On twitter, people are mocking Harden's stepbacks left and right.

    As I said, this thing is blowing up fast. It's becoming 'Harden plays no defense' 2.0, and the hate is strong. Not good.

    Absolutely not a travel -- except when it is. :)

    Rather than going the opposite extreme and declaring every one of his step backs is legal, we're better off acknowledging that yes, on occasion, he will travel and get away with it. (SHOCK -- the NBA sometimes misses travel violations!).

    I would like someone to take a random sample of 30 of his step backs and determine how many are actual travels -- by the rules -- when you zoom in in super-slow motion.

    BAN IT! (even though it breaks no rules)

    I don't care

    Harden comes back yearly with a new unstoppable move, better then the one previously banned, and motivation

    So no more step back? Fine, in the 2018-2019 season he will unveil the newest of the new unarguable moves. I'm going to tentatively unofficially name it 'The stripper booty bounce'.

    Somebody should really do this, because now the narrative is all of Harden's stepbacks are travels. It's much wiser to counteract this narrative by providing empirical evidence as to exactly what percentage of his stepbacks fall into that category, rather than saying it's 0%, which accomplishes nothing but fuel the haters.

    do they focus / change the rules just for Harden's violations then?
