buddy and I went to Mastros Monday. Dropped 400 but I cook all the time and when I go out I would much rather go all out. 2 scotches pre meal appetizer bottle of wine 2 steaks 2 sides now if I were on a date and paying i drop the scotch and appetizer and get a cheaper side immediately cut out over 100 bucks
I have no idea what an "onion volcano" is, but I sure like the sound of it. 2 shared appetizers, split an entree, split the dessert. Unless you're in the mood to splurge, or you have the munchies, or....and there's nothing wrong with that. Leftovers are also great. I bought $60 of stuff at the Thai place the other night and ate on it for 2 1/2 days.
Ugh... I am so freaking hungry. Trying out this "all baked or boiled potato" regimen. I'm only on day 3 of 14 and I don't know if I can make it. Just watched this twice.
Ah, good man, now I remember. Haven't been to a proper Hibachi in several many years. I think he overcooked those shrimp, though.
lol, yea you would be surprised how many people come in and sit down and leave because they find out it isn't a buffet. If you are good you can probably do it in about a year. Trust me you cook a lot of tables a day so you will get plenty of practice. Yes I make them audition, I have to. I have had some people tell me they cooked for many years and when they start cooking you can already tell they don't know what they are doing.
