There was also a point in which McHale was describing the sneakiness of left-handed players, mentioning Conley first (bc relevance to the game, at hand). Then, McHale mentioned Ginobili and then Thomas, from Boston. And then that was it. No mention of Harden, whatsoever.

You know, the guy you coached? The best left-hander, currently, in the game?

McHale didn't coach Harden. Clapping and saying 2 words on the bench isn't coaching. Anyone can do that.

If they do change the rule, will they call it the Harden Rule?

When she first did it I was like., . .WTF . . . did she travel . . wait. . . hold up.
But it was a move she used often. Back when the WNBA was decent to good
(It was good cause we won like 4 championships in a row)

It's become clear that McHale is salty as hell for being booted out of Houston , but he tries to hide it and to appear as if he doesn't care. I never hated on him when he was in Houston but now he's gotten on my nerves. He even had that interview where he revealed his "beef" with Harden. Yuck loser

It’s a disgrace that the second best player on the leagues best team can’t make the all star team despite averaging 19 and 9 while shooting 47 from the field and 38 from the 3pt whilst a glorified off the ball player like Thompson who can’t create a shot to save himself let alone run an offense can make it.

Most of the moves that are heavily copied these days come from one of two places:

    1) Kyrie

    2) Harden

They also seem to take from one another and have been doing this since that FIBA World Championship team they played on together.

LeBron uses his step back all the time now. Also seen him try the sidestep move.

I am actually glad that they changed the rule. It made Harden a better player.

Honestly the stepback is something we didn't see this much of last year. It's really great that he added something so deadly to his arsenal.

What are these "pioneer moves" that Harden came up with that people are copying?

What makes Harden almost unstoppable right now is he took his greatest strength, the cross-over dribble drive and added a COUNTER to it with the step back 3.

This is what Olajuwon did with his jump hook and dream shake. You have the COUNTER.

Then Harden just takes what the defense gives him. The key moving forward is Harden still being consistent on that step back.

Harden continues to add to his game. He can still add "floaters" on drives. He can add some more post moves. He has shown the capacity to grow.

Rockets are lucky to have him.
