Markel did a nice job slowing down a red hot Goran Dragic tonight. Played nice team defense. Color me impressed.
"Last game he played, I thought he had a good presence on the floor," D'Antoni said. "He looked like he belonged. He guards really well. Obviously, he's been watching the last few games so he knows a little bit what we're trying to do. I liked what I saw. He's going to be in with a (couple) Hall of Fame points, so he's in pretty good shape." https://www.chron.com/sports/rocket...ressed-into-service-with-Rockets-12560066.php
Feel like when our player needs rest, I don't think throwing in Brown would be bad just for a couple mins of solid defense/hustle. I doubt it's going to happen when our squad gets healthy though, maybe in b2b.
I prefer this Brown over Bobby. Too bad Harden is the de facto GM and would rather have his booty buddy here wasting a spot as opposed to someone who can actually contribute
Black, Green & Brown all with the same role nonrotation reserves. Used only when we need to add some color in the lineup but not to much.
if he can help keep the lead in garbage time with his d might mean less end of game minutes for Paul and Harden's. that would be good ...
He’s right though. It’s been widely reported Bobby Brown will be back after the trade deadline. This has the potential to be Francisco Garcia over Robert Covington all over again.
For the record....I once heard Calvin call him Shea Brown which I thought was hilarious. Funny how you remember the little things, 24 years ago on Channel 20
