The Dubs won a title without Durant but getting Durant made them even better and more versatile, you tell me.....given Durant was younger when he joined.

You get Lebron to win more ships but I guess for some people one is enough.

The title aspiration this year won't be hinging on Lebron coming next year. Not mutually exclusive anyway.

Regardless of what anyone says, safe and rational money says that ch44’s assumptions are not correct. dMorey is not in any way shape or form sabotaging his chance at lb23. Basically Paul and Harden won’t let him.

They all know the plan. Everyone does. Ullllll c.

A team on a two decade drought can’t be picky.

    Honestly .. . . . LeBron lacks choices

    1. HE cannot stay in Cleveland - They will not be relevent for the near future and his window is now
    2. He cannot go to the Celtics or Warriors - 1 his enemy is there and the other is WORSE than joining the champion Rockets - esp if he has to be a discount player or cost them Klay and or Green
    3. What other Options - OKC - Seriously doubt it .. . That is like Cleveland without the urbanization plus Westbrook - Almost every other team will require him to be LeBron from 3 yrs ago .. .and I am feeling like he not able to work that hard again

At the end of 3 yrs. . Lebron maybe at 80% but that is still better than 90% of the rest of the league
    Same with CP3
Harden will bear some of that load but by then we can fill in the blanks

    Take the championship NOW
IF we win . . . DRexler Trade for LeBron to help keep it going

LOL at the haters. This is a legit question. We win now, and LeBron goes to GSW, then we don't sniff the finals for the foreseeable future (possible given this week's news). Versus we lose now, get LeBron, and are in the finals every year for the foreseeable future.

At least we know which members here would be content with a one-and-done Mavs title vs a Spurs dynasty. I'm in the dynasty camp.

Or we lose now, lebron comes here doesn’t fit in, coach gets fired, lebron says nothing but his friends call out James Harden effort level, harden starts pouting, knocked out in the 2nd round and whole thing blows up.

Or, we lose now, lebron comes here and all is gravy but they don’t have the shooting to best golden state. Lose in the wcf.

The idea that lebron guarantees a dynasty is preposterous

I’d rather have Paul george (lebron better but George better fit) but I don’t think we can get him.

Even with LeBron and Paul the Lakers are 2 maybe 3 years away
MAYBE IS they get LeBron, Paul and Paul

I don't see Paul going back to LA though

Both CP3 and PG13? I don't think the Lakers give up on Lonzo that quickly, that they'd try to get CP3.

I mean, I'd do it because CP3 >>> Lonzo, but still.

I for one still think EVEN if we do win the chip lebron would come. What GS did there is really unfair, and beating them will still mean the same for his legacy with or without that first championship without him.
Either way my focus is only on this year with the players we currently have. Lets get it

Winning a championship vs the potential to win one

Not sure how this is even a debate

With posts like these your moniker must be an oxymoron.
