    I don't fault Russ at all here.
    Fans need to realize that buying a ticket to a game does not give you license to be an a**hole.
    Pick the wrong player to mess with and things could get ugly.
    Imagine a fan jumping in Mad Max's face like that back in the day after a tough loss. :eek:

    No man, you gotta have some respect.

    Its one thing to heckle players but its another to invade his personal space and get up in his face. Russ shouldn't get any punishment for this the fan should get something instead.

    He walked up to the player, even if he is just screaming that is still threatening behavior. Some people are batshit crazy, you don't know what they're gonna do when they walk up to you thats why security is supposed to prevent that from happening.

    I'm a pretty high ranking member of the "I hate Westbrook" club. But f**k that fan.

    You can holler all you want, but invading a man's personal space like that, on the floor no less, entitles you to an ass kicking and banning from the arena. He should have done the smart thing and kept walking, but Westbrook seems physically incapable of ever letting things slide. Still doesn't deserve any kind of punishment IMO.

    TBH Russell could have just walked away from the fan. It doesn't look like the fan was impeding his progress to head to the locker room.

    Maybe he was just mad he had to go home....

    Not mad at him. Paying for a ticket doesn't entitle you to get up on players like that. Lucky he didn't get punched.

    I didn't see how far he got on the court. Gotta remember it was a crazy moment and he was in it and must have been jumping around and screaming and not realizing how far he got on the court. Not saying it wasn't his fault but confrontation could have been easily avoided if WB just walked away from him

    Westbrook should be punished for shoving the fan. He couldve just ignored him, but he let his emotions get to him = MENTAL MIDGET
