I didn't watch the game so I can't speak on how he played tonight but he does tend to rely on getting to the line which isn't always bad. It's bad when he's trying to draw a foul instead of actually trying to make the shot. But when he's not trying hitting his shots It's good that he's not settling and getting to the line. He just needs to find the right balance. The better teams in the NBA have defenders who aren't going to fall for his tactics.

KD and Lebron are next level. They are basketball demigods. No one in the NBA is on there level in the NBA. I do think Harden is the superior playmaker while Curry is the better pure shooter. Curry has the benefit of being playing with some extremely skilled players. Iggy and Livingston are more than capable of initiating the offense allowing Curry to use a ton of screens and hand offs to get him easy shots. They can also run the offense through Dray from the high post which puts tremendous pressure on the defense. The Rockets really only have CP3 and he's not even playing that much with Harden. Clutch time CP3 should run the offense in the 4th while we use off ball actions to get Harden better looks than tough contested 3s. That's on both Dantoni and Harden. Harden can't settle for tough shots and Dantoni needs to run better offensive actions in crunch time.

As for tonight, Harden played well and was the primary reason the Rockets came back in the 4th. He didn't do his usual drive in and then turn it over/pout for a foul thing he's been doing lately. He actually finished inside or attempted to. He shot 40 pts on 50% and had 11 assists to only 1 turnover. The whole team defense was poor but he had 2 steals, 2 blocks. I've been one of his biggest critics lately but he played under control today. I don't get any of the b****ing in this thread.

Capela was shockingly bad tonight. 3-8 from the field and a -9? We want the real Clint back

    What happened, guys?

Went away after the beginning of the 4th quarter.

    Dudes played 45 minutes and 148 - 142

WIN, that was a hard fought game for two teams that want to avoid a 6 game losing streak.

    Happy New One!

That was easily our best win of the year..
    1. Down 17 in the 3rd
2.Clutch baskets (usually a 3) by the lakers everytime we came close
    3.James getting hurt
    4.Anderson getting benched
    5.Capela fouling out
    6.Lazy defense

We overcame so many negatives, i didn't think this squad had that kind of resiliency. Ive been on MDA alot this past week and rightfully so because he hasnt been "in it" like i expect a coach to be. Yesterday i saw some improvement , he was on our players even when things were going bad. I like that alot. You have to keep encouraging them to keep playing the same way even when shots aren't falling , no more silent mike plz.

Defense has to get better though, communication seems off. You cannot have EG guard Nance under the basket with.8 sec left, thats just stupid. We got lucky there.
Hope JH is OK, that 4th Q was wizardly.

Incredible, if Lakers had a tad more experience, they'd win it again.

If they keep half their young core and add Lebron and PG13.....that'd be sick.

    Lonzo
    Clarkson
    PG
    Lebron
    Kuzma/Randle/Above Average Center

    Trade Ingram and others.

This forum at times never ceases to amaze me. I don't have anyone on ignore. But I shake my head at a lot of what I see. The trolls are lame. And obvious.

There is some good analysis that I enjoy. And I pass out "likes" liberally when I see it because I want to enourage. So if I liked your posts, keep it up. ;)
