Do you ever find yourself feeling sorry for Mavs fans since they are the worst team in the league and have no future? I don’t, but if you do, remember this post from a few years back on the Mavs forum: https://scout.com/nba/mavericks/Board/103445/Contents/Anyone-else-enjoy-reading-clutchfans-70854480 It’s called “Anyone else enjoy reading clutchfans” and it starts with a guy posting: “watching that team unravel has been glorious. The perception of us as Mavs fans is pretty funny.” And then a bunch of Mavs fans chime in about how screwed the Rockets are that the mavs got the heir apparent to kobe, Chandler Parsons. My point is that if anyone says anything along the lines of “we must remain classy and not taunt Mavs fans”, I highly disagree with you and think you’re not a real rockets fan, and probably went to some school like UC Berkeley. Also, feel free to post other reasons why we shouldn’t feel sorry for fans of the team with the least amount of NBA Championship rings in Texas, located in the city with the only MLB team in Texas that’s ringless.
Lol, I can't say I don't enjoy watching them struggle. I like Dennis Smith Jr. now but I was honestly so happy when we destroyed them in the playoffs 2 years ago. Prior to that, I realized there was nothing worse than being around a bunch of Mavericks fans in an elevator on the way to watch a Rockets Mavericks game. They talked about their players with such arrogance and superiority. They trash talk when stealing our players (like Parsons), complain about integrity when they lose out on putting all their hope in a player like Deandre Jordan, and call us classless when we trash talk them back for beating them in 2015. I still can't get over the fact that Dirk Nowitzki had to flop his way to winning a series when a guy named Ryan Bowen was guarding him (Juwan would have won us that freakin' rigged series). He redeemed himself with his legendary performance against the heat that first year of lebron/wade/bosh, but to me, it epitomized Mavericks basketball, and remained a reason why I never wanted Jason Terry on our team, and enjoyed him getting dunked on by Lebron the following year. So ... good riddance Mavericks fans. Better luck in the years to come.
I live in dallas & certainly do not feel sorry for them tf? Dennis Smith will be a star + they could add Marvin Bagley or Michael Porter Jr through the draft.
If the Mavs becomes like the Rockets, I don't care. If the Mavs become TMac's Magic, I don't care. If the Cuban try to get any Rockets players then I will care very much.
Don’t care much for Dallas, but didn’t quite get the weird school comment. UC Berkeley is a great university for those with gifted minds - did you prefer your GED instead? If so, I heard MacDonalds is currently looking for a new fry-flip specialist.
they’re too irrelevant for me to feel anything for them...I actually want them to start winning games so that they can get the closer to the 5th pick instead of the 1st teams I actively root against right now are Milwaukee, Boston, GS, OKC, and Cleveland...I love me a good OKC L
i don't feel sorry for dallas or mavs fans at all because they've been the better team than us over the last 15 years. they've also been way more relevant than us over the last decade and they won a championship just 6 years ago while it's been 22 years since our last championship. that being said, we have been wayyyy better over the last 2 years and we will continue to be better for at least the next 5 years and i'm thrilled about that. F*** dallas.
Why do they hate us thou? Why do they enjoy watching our team unravel...... They were never victims of Hakeem and our glorious championships. Only person they should hate is Mcgrady for sucking the gravity out of their building.
you don't have to buy anything. the guys i've met on clutchfans over the years know me and my fanhood.
