Nuggets won all three games last week, Jokic average 22.8+13.3+5.7. Rockets also won all three games, against better teams, Harden averages 33+6.7+12.0. I think James got robbed once again, to me this is blatant discrimination. I can foresee him get screwed once again in the MVP voting. How do you think?
league office never hesitated to give nash or curry b2b mvp's. but they absolutely can't give harden even b2b player of the week. if only harden was white, or at least half...
They just rewarded a guy who scored 14, 15, and 41 in the three games he played. I am curious what "Player of the week" means?
They want the player on their favorite team to be recognized. Do you care if Jose Altuve wins MVP over Aaron Judge? I do. I want our hometown player to be recognized for the hard work he put in to be great.
Not this again... Stop parroting this tired notion that fans only care about individual awards.. We just want Harden to get his due. Harden is doing things only WILT, JORDAN, and THE DREAM have done and no one cares. unlike.
it's a matter of simple right and wrong. harden is competing against 3 refs every single night unable to get even the most obvious of calls that end of the bench scrubs usually get when they drive in the paint. he is sucking it up and still destroying opposing teams and officiating crews. and these whores in the league office can only continue to embrace their bottomlines, b/c harden is clearly not a part of their promotional agenda. perhaps mckinsey did a study for them that advised against the osama beard in terms of stealing away further marketshare from the NFL
Just watched The Jump, a show about basketball, and they ignored Harden, but manage to talk about how the Thunder have finally "found their groove" after wins against an injured Clippers team and a bottom-feeding Mavs team. 30 minute show and not one mention of James Harden or his 9 assists in the first qtr.
