I'm fighting back tears, I literally threw up in the middle of the 9th. This has been the single most emotional experience of my life. To have watched this whole thing get built basically from scratch. After almost a quarter century of watching, it finally f**king happened. Don't even think it has sunk in yet.
I am so happy this happened. Especially for one person, my grandfather. He passed away in 2003, but I know he will still watching up above. Up until he was 90 he could sit and tell you every statistic and every single thing about every player that played for Houston Astros. He will always be an Astros fan. This really means a lot to me.
The Astros come through for the city! 22 year city championship drought in any major sport (NBA, NFL, MLB, sorry MLS) is OVER!!!!
I'm in tears man, I'm so ****ing happy! Congrats to our boys and congrats to all my fellow life long fans!!!! Astros are world freakin champs baby!!!!!
What a great day in Houston sports history! The Houston Astro's are world champions for the very first time. I can't believe what I just saw
Yo, I've been an Astros fan forever, but seriously? Single most emotional experience of your life? (not to be a drag, I'm super excited, but lol)
