So you are asking people to provide their ignorant opinions based entirely on either going along blindly with what the president said or going against it blindly?

    That's smart.

Why is he trying to make it look like Puerto Ricans are doing nothing but waiting? Why paint them as lazy? Despite having no power, disruption in water service, flooding, damage, and all of that, they've set up feeding kitchens, and volunteers to go and check on people or bring them to safety, and doing all sorts of things. General Buchanan himself said he didn't have the Federal resources he needed. So is he just waiting on the Federal government to do everything?

What a stupid derogatory thing to say.

So disgusting. They just have been devastated and have no food or water, no electricity, the roads are out and instead of trying to help he complains they are lazy hispanics. Where was this when Houston was under water????

Trump is unfit to lead. President shouldn't be making bigoted comments during a disaster. He should be helping.

Texas relief effort proceeded flawlessly. Both federal and local relief agency did their jobs. Texas should be symbolized how to deal with natural disasters.

So why can't Trump and the feds hold it together for PR? Why didn't they send the military in for logistical support after a major hurricane hit? Why wait nearly 2 weeks?

I guess if Puerto Rico had voted for Trump (they couldn't because they aren't a state) they would have gotten more help from the feds, right?

I dont know how anyone is suppose to reply to such an idiotic statement.

'If the man on the moon voted for Trump (he couldn't because he doesnt exist and the moon isn't a state) they would have gotten more help from the feds, right?

Instead of knee jerk reactions to idiots attacking each other over tweets, answer this:

How much help has PR received from the Feds? Hmm, you can't answer this because you have no idea what you're talking about ... as usual.

PR is an Island. Most of the help and assistance received immediately after a disaster often comes locally. There are no roads leading to PR for the cajun navy to come and help. There are no roads for tens of thousands of utilitiy workers and vehicles from all over the continent to come help. There are no roads for hundreds of tons of supplies in tractor trailers to steadily stream in. Even in its best days before the storm, PR was struggling. The water isn't going to drain off of a couple days and 90% of the island will return back to normal. 90% of power will not be restored after 3-4 days and things to return back to normal. They are in a very difficult situation and it will take time.

Probably one of the stupidest posts from one of the stupidest posters on this board's history.

PR is an ISLAND???? What are you Donald Trump now? Do you know how many naval vessels and helicopters the US has? We are talking about a military that can move 10's of thousands of soldiers to any point in the world in a matter of two weeks and you use the Trump's excuse from a man who has no clue about anything???

Go back to your stupid hole in the wall.

wow, this white house has no shame. Really will go down in history as the worst 4 years of leadership. Can't wait until 2020 to get that clown out of office.

Don't be obtuse. You know exactly what he was saying when he said Puerto Ricans won't do anything and expect others to do everything.

Because the military didn't wait two weeks, an amphibious assault group centered around the USS Kearsage (which includes a Marine unit) was offshore the day after the hurricane hit.
