Sansa detected that he had ulterior motives, so she asked her brother about it off screen and he ratted Littlefinger out.
That ice/fire w.e Viseryon was breathing shouldn't have been powerful enough? What if Ice Dragons are stronger...what if the night king augments their power? I don't understand how you can have checks on that stuff when its within a reasonable window (like it is in the show)
I feel like it's pretty obvious that Jon and Dany are going to have a kid... and that this kid is going to be the winner of the game of thrones. I think the other implication of them having a kid is that everyone can die next season... none of them have plot armor anymore (beyond beating the night king).
Not really. The writers make time to force pointless dialogue (Between Cercei and Tyrion) but yet the dragon makes a huge neat hole in the wall in a couple minutes. If the wall was portrayed to be a few feet deep, then great, whatever, however that is not the case. The wall is suppose to be impenetrable. They could easily remedy this by getting a few guys on top of the wall panicking and commenting the dragon can cut through in a hour, panning between everyone running away and shots of the dragon chipping away at the wall...instead of a few passes and a scene that mimiced Joshua and the falling of the wall around Jericho. The frustrating part is the show is more and more moving into a "deem it so" sloppy writing mentality often found in garbage shows like TWD.
Believe now that the Night King is the guy with blonde hair that was crowned with the pot of gold. It's the only thing that makes sense to me. Who else would have come up with a plan to get a dragon, wants to be king, has a bloodline to the crown, betrayed the dragon queen, could easily ride a dragon, understands magic, is generally hated, would take on John Snow, and is by all means dead, and bat crazy. That's your guy. Mark it down.
Cersei Logic: I've taken out a massive loan to hire mercenaries that will eventually become more soldiers for the Night King's army in a few weeks. Also Jon Snow has the thickest plot armor of any character that has ever existed. Dude really is Azor Ahai because damn. He does every single thing you possibly can do to get killed, including literally get killed, and still lives on.
What keeps me watching are neither just the dragons or the Undead but the whole show being a reflection of a parliament or gathering of political show offs, schemers and liars. Couple of honest men in there. The Reddit theories came true......Incest on its peak. I am glad Baelish is gone for good at least as a living. Starks and Fake Snows Unite! Lol Daenerys Night King. Spoiler
Oh noes .... their kid needs a spouse eventually though. what if after the Great War, they decide to create a truce with Cersei by betrothing their kid to hers. Then the show ends with *everyone* winning the game of thrones, with a wedding scene in the future and they all live happily ever after.
The Night King was created thousand of years ago when the Children of the Forest stabbed a man with dragonglass. So no, it's not Viserys.
Actually. I don’t think it’s really out of character. He was a talker and manipulator. He was a behind the scenes guy who was not built to be a fighter. He used smarts to get what he wanted. The only person he really killed was a woman. I don’t believe he killed or fought anyone.
I felt the same way He did not go out stupidly . . but because he did stupid stuff beyond over playing his hand . . . Which was just kind of beneath him He set up a situation where he did not have ONE friend in the room Little Finger should have stormed out and just left. His inability to lie convincingly at the end was disappointing I doubt any big deaths are lefts. . . at least not among the good guys I figured They will betray Cersei . . . I am kind of bored with the SuperPowers being the resolution to everything That is kind of the thing Stuff happening like that off screen is not what we gotten use too The problem is did not take much to figure out his plan he told her every time he got a chance and it was not how he got to his position I bet Jon got the magic stick that can impregnate Dany Since they went off book . . . they fell into predictable and a bit cliche .. . . I doubt anyone else of consequence dies . .. I was shocked GreyWorm was still around so that means Tormand will be around too Though The Hound and Brienne kind sparked a bit Rocket River
Jon Snow is clearly the protagonist of this show. The big reveal tonight confirmed that Jon Snow is in fact the legitimate son of Rhaegar and Lyanna; named Aegon Targaryen at birth. Therefore, he is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. This season was about assembling All the King's Men. The final piece was Jaime who left Cersei and King's Landing to fight with Jon Snow in the Great War. Here's the updated roster of All the King's Men: Dany (queen, air force) Davos (hand of the king) Tyrion (strategic advisor) Jaime (lord commander) Brienne (kingsguard) Tormund (chieftain warrior) The Hound (champion fighter) Jorah (knight) Bronn (mercenary) Beric (magic swordsman) Theon (naval officer) Bran (oracle) Arya (assassin) Sam (scholar) Gendry (blacksmith) That's quite a formidable group of advisors, commanders, fighters, and support personnel Jon Snow will have at his disposal in the Great War.
The only issues I had with the Littlefinger ending was how little they developed anybody else from the Vale. I think we know Yohn Royce didn't care for Littlefinger, but if they had the Vales support, executing Baelish should have been a forgone conclusion. It's not ridiculous for me to think that Littlefinger thought he had Sansa more under control than he actually did.
He had *NO* other allies anywhere. . . He just did not seem the type to put all his eggs in one basket Rocket River
Kinda disappointed, nothing big or unexpected happened imo. Especially the Little Finger thing. No one was falling for his **** from the beginning. Sansa and Arya are both far too smart to be manipulated at this point in the show, his "plan" was NEVER going to happen and it was pretty clear. His scene was the biggest DUH event of the episode. The only slight surprise was that Bran came out and just said what everyone knew, didn't think he would do it that way
