[Morey] Chris Paul hopes to stay with Rockets

Hopes is the key word..anything can happen. What if things don't work out? I wouldn't bank on it. Just see how this season goes.

He could have also said "I'm not focusing on what happens after this year. I'm only focused on this year and getting better with the team we have"... something along those lines

This is what I usually expect to hear from a start player who hasn't fully made up their mind or trying to gain some sort of leverage with their current team.

 

What he's really saying is Chris Paul hopes to get the MAX

 

I'm assuming that if he stays then that means that he and Harden and MDA all figured out how to make it work together and they had a successful season... So yes I hope he stays too

Do a lot of people on here just not read? The article expressly stated why the Rockets weren't considered for that ESPN article.

 

T-Mac was overwhelmed by the turnout at his pep rally too....until he realized that was a bigger and louder crowd than the actual games at Toyota Center.

 

I'm watching Jalen Rose on ESPN and whoever that other guy is. Jalen said Chris Paul has a Rockets logo on his neck. That's commitment if true.

They covered going to the Rockets and why players might want to go as well. Might be worth posting a video once it's up.
