The Houston Texans will win a Super Bowl in the next five years

    I don't believe in curses, so I'm going to come out and say it. The Houston Texans will win a Super Bowl within five years. If I was a betting man, I'd say it would be 2019 or 2020.

    I believe in Deshaun Watson.

    I'm on vacation this week and I'm up doing laundry so I started watching tape on him again. It is my firm belief that the knocks on this kid were mostly just not picking done by scouts because they had to give negatives.

    Sure there's some questionable decision making. It's not that often, though. His arm is fine. Sometimes he becomes a gun slinger. That's fine. The bad things he has are easily cleaned up on. I'm confident of this, especially after hearing about his work ethic.

    As long as Bill O'Brien remains head coach, we'll win a Super Bowl within five years. This team has talent, and I truly believe we have an all world quarterback on the roster. I truly believe we are a sleeping giant.

    It won't happen this year, though I think we could get to the AFC championship game this year.


    CAN'T. WAIT.

    That Houston sports hater, FTW Rockets FTW had commented but apparently the Mods deleted him. Surprisingly he doesn't agree.

    I'm with ya Eddie, Texans Super Bowl champs in 2019/20.

    We don't have a Super Bowl organization at the top, and the margins of success are too thin to be weak anywhere.

    Pretty sure BOB wants away from Ricky Bobby. Both make personnel decisions, one is marginally qualified to do so and the other knows nothing about pro football except how to cash your checks.

    Rick doesn't like HCs who challenge his competence, and McNair would rather have a gentlemanly HC instead of someone who acts like Vince Lombardi did, yelling and cussing and making losing miserable.

    BOB will move on to challenge for a SB elsewhere, and we will end up with participation trophies.
