    Blazers get Anderson.
    Nets get Crabbe.

    Knicks get picks + Leonard and Harkless? I imagine Morey caved and sent Ariza along to Portland as well to get the Blazers to participate.

    Wow...did no one actually point out this Crabbe deadline. Since Portland matched a Nets offer last year, they can't trade him to the Nets for a year, even with his consent.

    Steele either heard of the deadline for the Crabbe trade happening, or figured it out that Crabbe couldn't be moved to the Nets until today (maybe from the EPSN Trade machine telling him), and is making a bold prediction that it would all happen around the deadline.

    @KlutchQT here's that deadline driving the timing of Burt Steele's prediction, that you were asking about. This could be the salary dump, 4th team part of the Melo-Ryno-Harkless trade. Instead of Leonard, it's Crabbe to the Nets.
