    Cool. Melo is coming. It's a "done deal".
    So ... When is the deal happening? What's the hold up? Which players are involved? Which teams are involved?

    Further evidence: Eric Gordon is in China trying to boost his popularity there before he's traded away from China's team (i.e. the Rockets).

    While I definitely think Big Wos is credible, if this were even a month ago, my instinct would be to say that the players -- even Harden -- are capable of getting carried away with what's described to them as possibilities. We all do it in various facets of life.

    That said, I can't help but think back to Pat Beverley's interview at the TriStar show 10 days before the CP3 trade... when there had been VERY FEW national links of CP3 and the Rockets, and zero trade rumors about Bev. Without even being asked about any of it, Pat went out of his way to say he had heard rumors about himself and even mentioned the pursuit of Chris Paul specifically. Then lo and behold, 10 days later, look what happens. It's becoming a players league more and more, so while it's certainly possible that Harden exaggerated the situation... I'm more open than ever to it being legitimate.

    yup. And especially when it comes to franchise players like Harden that are actively involved in recruiting and have a saying in roster decisions.

    Now if Harden says it's a done deal, does it mean the trade has been finalised and he knows for sure who is going to get traded for what? No. But Morey must have let him know that Melo is coming.

    Yep, like we discussed, players are more and more in charge if he league, at least the star players. It's amazing really and so unique among the sports
