All good points; we are in an era of positionless BBall. I guess my point is that i think Melo is not suited for the 3 anymore. I think he's better suited for the 4. And Tucker and Ariza (and even Harden) can play the 3. So I think for it to work best on our team, Melo is going to need to spend a lot of time at the 4. I also hope he's grown up since he played with MDA almost 10 yrs ago? But Melo is a risk; no doubt about it.
yeah you need to switch anthony and ariza. Anthony would be playing stretch 4 in this system. He also is way worse defensively at the 3 than the 4.
By adding tucker we just gave ourself a lot more options. I love bev but the guy can effectively guard 1 position. Tucker can guard at least 3
damn kinda wish we had a need for Wade, would be dope. Gordon is the more dependable player now though.
I cant give up EG in any carmelo deal....in a salary dump to make more room for lebron next year for sure hehe. it feels so wrong being THAT team....but so damn right too. Lets hope this melo deal just gets finalized, but i just cant help looking ahead
I would rather keep Gordon but if we end up having to move him Wade would be a hell of a consolation prize
True, but we'd be getting dangerously close to the end of the LeBron's Heat situation. 1 superstar with a bunch of dudes on the decline.
i always hated him after that rondo arm break in the playoffs. Rajon Rondo was a very exciting player so I was rooting for the celtics in that series. I still think him tackling rondo causing him to break his arm was ridiculous lol. but im sure he's not a bad guy and a good choice for a favorite player. I'd welcome him on the rockets if the price is right (like BAE)
Don't see why he'd pick us over Cleveland. Harden-CP3-Gordon rotation doesn't allow for him to play much.
