Houston trades: Capela/Anderson Gets: Love/O'Quinn Cleveland trades: Love/Frye Gets: Melo NY trades: Melo/O'Quinn Gets: Capela/Anderson/Frye (expiring) Sucks losing Clint, but O'Quinn is criminally underrated. Plus, more importantly, we finally have a big three.
Could this be beneficial to all parties involved? Of course Bembry would be Millsap at about $28-$30 mil/ 1st yr (just used Bembry to register something) Hearing Millsap finding it hard to get that $30-35 mil/ 1st yr. http://basketball.realgm.com/tradechecker/saved_trade/6897819 Atlanta: In: Ryno/Shumpert/Chinanu+picks Out: Millsap Cavs: In: Melo/Shawn Long/Ryan Kelly Out: Love/Shumpert Knicks: In: Kevin Love/Isaiah Taylor/Quarterman+picks Out: Melo Houston: In: Millsap Out: Ryno/Ryan Kelly/Shawn Long/Chinanu/Quarterman/Isaiah Taylor/??Bobby Brown QO?? Houston lineup PG) CP3 SG) Harden/Gordon SF) Ariza PF) Millsap..............Uthoff/Z Qi C) Capela Piecemeal a bench much like Cavs and Warriors have done for years. 1) Blockbuster trade: HOU – NYK – CLE – MIL Houston: F Kevin Love (CLE) + C Kyle O’Quinn (NYK) Love finds a home in Htown / 3rd star. O'Quinn is nice depth in front court. New York: C Greg Monroe (MIL) + JR Smith (CLE) + F Channing Frye (CLE) + C Spence Hawes (MIL) + F Ryan Kelly (HOU) + G Tim Quarterman (HOU) + 2018 1st (CLE) Knicks collect a bunch of expiring contracts with eyes on 2018 free agency. They flip JR Smith to Pellies for G E'twuan Moore + G/F Quincy Pondexter. Cleveland: F Carmelo Anthony (NYK) + F Ryan Anderson (HOU) + G Courtney Lee (NYK) + F Lance Thomas (NYK) Cavs load up on firepower (Melo) to keep Celtics in check and make a run at another championship. Anderson is Love-esque off the bench. Lee will be a better starter than JR. Thomas is depth who can knock down the 3. Milwaukee: C Joaquim Noah (NYK) + G Iman Shumpert (CLE) + 2020 1st (HOU) [lottery protected] Bucks unload Monroe and pick up hard nosed defensive center (Noah) who matches Kidd's intensity - when healthy. Shumpert is a versatile backcourt player. The Houston 1st is for taking on Noah's contract. 2) trade G Isaiah Taylor + F/C Chinanu Onuaku + F Shawn Long + $3M cash + rights to F Alessandro Gentille to Toronto for Patrick Patterson in S&T (4 years // $30M) 3) sign C Nene with BAE 4) trade SF Jared Uthoff + rights to G Sergio Llull to Chicago for G Jerian Grant 5) sign G Darren Collison & G/F Vince Carter to veteran’s minimum contracts (2nd year is player option) PG: Paul – Collison – Grant SG: Harden – Gordon – Carter SF: Ariza – Tucker – Troy Williams PF: Love – Patterson – Zhou Qi C: Capela – O’Quinn -- Nene That roster comes out at 86.47 wins using last year's data for RPM / Win Shares. As a point of reference, last year's GSW squad had about 77.23 wins using same data.
Trade Anderson, Rockets 2020 1st, NG contracts Kelly/Taylor/Quarterman + Long or Onuaku for Milsap S&T(starting salary 32 million) in a 3 way deal. Re-sign Nene, sign Justin Holiday with BAE, sign Humphries with vet min. PG: Chris Paul / Justin Holiday SG: James Harden / Eric Gordon SF: Trevor Ariza / P.J. Tucker PF: Paul Milsap / Kris Humphries C: Clint Capela / Nene D:League: Qi, Oliver, Uthoff, (Long or Onuaku)
Bucks unload Monroe who expires and take back ..Noah? I mean..I don't think I'm being a homer when I say nope. If NY wants to unload Noah to someone the price is at least 2 mid firsts near the lottery. Basically I don't see any way they get out of that contract for a couple more years.
Send some of the NG's to tor for PJ trade. Anderson and 1 ng to Det for Harris and Morris Melo gets bought out and we use MLE We use BAE on nene and pray Paul/Gordon Harden / PJ Ariza/ Harris Melo/ Morris Clint/ nene
Alright, how about this one, three team deal with Indy and NYK - Anderson goes to Indiana along with a lottery protected 2020 Houston 1st rounder - Indiana sends Ellis (2 yr ~23 mill) and Al Jefferson (1 yr, 10 mill) to the Knicks - Knicks send Melo to Houston. Rockets use non-guarantees to make math work. Indy gets rid of players I don't think really fit into their plan, Knicks get some people to actually suit up for them whose contracts are shorter and less than the melo deal and who don't totally suck. I think the Knicks would do this -- but I question if Indy would take on Anderson's contact, even with the 1st and the chance to unload Ellis.
Three-Team with Portland and Knicks http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yd9sb32t Anderson and Kelly to Portland Crabbe, Quarterman, Davis and 2020 top 20 protected first from Houston Melo to Houston
Milwaukee is trying to shed salary to sign another FA. Maybe we can absorb Spencer Hawes last year $6M with our non guaranteed players. He might work as a 3rd center / back up PF
Look for Nuggets to move Faried now that they have Paul Millsap. If Maury can't snag Carmelo, I like this trade for depth. http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=s8m5sbq Rockets get: K. Faried, N. Vucevic, Jameer Nelson Magic get: Ryan Anderson, Isaiah Taylor Nuggets get: CJ Watson, Ryan Kelly, Tim Quarterman, Shawn Long, HOU 2019 2nd Round Pick CP3/Nelson Harden/EG Ariza/PJ Tucker Faried/Vucevic Capela/Nene
I have a feeling that Mirza Teletović would fit with this group of guys due to his exceptional 3pt shot Can be brought from the Bucks easily especially if we plan on losing Ryan Anderson.
Rockets- Detroit - Knicks 3 way trade. Melo and KCP to Houston; Ryno to Detroit; Tobias Harris and non-guarantees to NY. http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yburk59p
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=uw43tjb Houston in: Kevin Love Houston out: Ryan Anderson, Onuaku, 2020 1st rounder and a bunch of NGs Knicks in: Onuaku, Tristan Thompson, Houston 2020 1st, bunch of NGs Knicks out: Melo Cavs in: Melo, Ryan Anderson Cavs out: Thompson, Love I like the idea of Love here more than Melo. Dontget me wrong i love Melo however for me, i think im one of the few (from what ive read on these boards anyway) who appreciated what Anderson done for us throughout the season. Love is the All Star version of Anderson, and someone who would flourish (well duh) next to Harden. For The Cavs, Andersons contract is a hard pill to swallow, but he does fill the role of a poor mans Kevin Love. So hopefully they can see benefit in that where a hole can be filled, plus it makes the sting of a Love for Melo trade sting a little bit less. The loss of Thompson would hurt the team a lot. But im more than sure the cavs could pick up a couple cheap bigs (Bogut, Dedmon, Zaza) to help lessen the blow. Then theres the Dwade buyout rumours to add a little spice.. I tried this trade with Frye and Shump going to the Knicks.. but i doubt the knicks would want Shump back. For the Knicks this is just a future move, while still having a shot at seeing if the team could work. Moving KP to more of a stretch 4 with Thompsons rim protection would work nicely. Plus the pick would always help. Im prettu sure i posted a trade similar before the trade deadline.. but im more of a stalker around these parts and not a poster.
