Which players, that are free agents this year, would be good for the Rockets to pickup for cheap? I'm thinking a Michael Beasley who would be good for us in the playoffs. Also, Tyreke Evans, who can play the 1, 2, and 3. I think those 2 players can take over a game if James Harden is not playing good. What do y'all think?
Withey at the minimum would be terrific. TRob at the minimum or close to the minimum witted be great value. He's better than Harrell. Brandon Rush at the minimum would be very nice. Ben McLemore for less than $5 Mimi would be good value. Joe Ingles could be a bargain at $6 million it less. Darren Collison cited be value at 5 or less per. There's you a few.
are we talking about the anthony bennetts, the bobby browns, the kyle wiltjers of free agency? which ones can we get? i dunno, but i dont mind a mark madsen big deep in the bench. this team has to be depressed as **** after game 6. there's gonna be a lot of those with harden at the helm. we need someone to cheer them up with some nice dance moves. madsen is perfect for that role. i must admit, when i saw him dancing in the laker championship parade, a little blood rushed to the tip of my penis
Lots of cheap scrub free agents, but none of them will get us to the finals. This is a Stars league, we need multiple Stars to compete.
I don't know about cheap, but I would eat booty for a defensive SF. Robert Covington, Andre Roberson, PJ Tucker, James Johnson.
Hopefully our Spurs meltdown didn't completely kill the idea that Houston is a team on the up with stability and a good system in place that would make acouple of guys to consider taking a less money to be in a position to play the game they want to play and be a winner. I see a problem we will run into is that players view playing a position up as bad for the longevity of their career. Would Gallinari and Covington want to play the 4 full time? Would Paul Millsap or Blake Griffin embrace playing center? We need to find the guy that answers yes to all of that, is willing to take less, and will fit in the locker room.
I love Trev, but he has a ton of miles on him. I'd love to get him down to less than 28-30 minutes a night.
Unless a rule change happens, I want nothing to do with Roberson. It was so nice to not be hack-a'd this year.
Yes please, needs to work on his defense but he's still a rangy athlete that can contribute but I want Beas back. He brought such a play-making dimension to the pf position, he can literally play inside, outside and midrange, its still a wonder why he was traded in the first place, every time Anderson looked scared to shoot the ball on his spot in the playoff I remembered how quick Beas' release is and how unconscious a shooter he is. Morty needs to make it right
