Well, here's a positive...no more bs about obrien not having his guy PLEASE. All the reports are that obrien fell in love with the kid so let him live and die with it.

Ozzie Newsome is an OG. Always gets great picks on defense outta nowhere.

We didn't go OL, reached, AND paid too much. Dude's not going to play right away and the Texans needed help now as we'll be in the thick of it. Lots of insane talent on the board too after these other reaches. Just pathetic. I liked Watson (a lot)..but later.

You know who else is winning so far? Brock Osweiller. He just might have secured a starting job for the Browns this year.

Oh don't worry, there's a chance they'll force him into the starting lineup immediately....which will almost certainly be a bad thing. Hopefully they get a right tackle so this kid doesn't end up getting himself killed while he's back there not knowing the offense.

There is zero chance Watson would have lasted till 25. And the Texans only gave up a 1st compared to the Chiefs who gave up a 1st AND 2nd. If you like Watson, this was the only way they were going to get him.

And why will Washington do that? Who will be their QB? Colt?

I'm ok with this. I suspect we may see Savage the first couple of games (despite the obvious pressure) and he will get hurt and then Watson will come in and hand off until we really find out if he can do it Should put us at 9-7 at worst and perhaps some time to develop him while still keeping up playoff hopes.

focus on the positives. the texans have struck gold in nearly all of their first round pick. mayock listed this qb as the top rated one on his board. the law of serendipity will fall in our favor.

Washington will do that bc there have not been solid contract negotiations between their front office and Cousins. It's likely he will leave at the end of the year, so why not take some picks and groom talent. The Redskins aren't going anywhere in that division with the Cowbitches and the Giants.

I hope the guy they traded a 1st round pick to draft at number 12 is able to beat out Tom Savage.

No doubt about that he did when even though there are other Qb's in this draft he still has a chance to be the starter for the browns

All 9 guys I favored outside of QB are all still on the board

    OL-Lamp, Bolles, Cam, Ramczyk
    DB-King, Obi, Peppers
    OLB-Watt, Willis

Not this year's. KC gave up this year's 2nd for Mahomes who is almost guaranteed to sit for at least a year
