We lost for 3 very simple reasons:

    1) back to back vs the best team in the league
    2) harden is hurt...very obvious
    3) Anderson is more important to this team than many assume.

We win this game if any of the above 3 were different

The result isn't even the worst part of the game, it's the fact that we aren't resting Harden and consequently, we see him get worse and worse every game.

We really need to hope Wiltjer can play some back up stretch 4 minutes(for next season)...I mean it is unlikely...but man we really need that floor spacer and you can't depend on Ryno all the time.

Harden has been hurt for a few games now, we're good at the 3 spot, but no one has the balls to sit harden down and look at the big picture, incl harden himself. If that's the kind of attitude they're going to have there's definitely something to panic about. Some things never change with this team. They still like to talk tough above all else....at least we'll be swag champs again this yr though.

Oh and we're still not good enough to get past the wc finals.. Capela and dekker get shook too easily still and play significant minutes. And we're like the MDA suns but with Amar'e as a soft stretch 4.

People forget that we also had bad games with Anderson on board and not playing in a b2b.

    1. Do not overreact and be mad.

    2. We also one tier below the elite teams.

The real championship experience will show in the playoffs not just in the regular season finale.
    We got little of that.

Our bench is weaker than warriors. Few players can use

we need to put things in perspective. The majority of Rockets fans prior to this season thought we would be somewhere in the 45-48 win range. A good offensive team but zip on defense. We got treated to a December that was spectacular. Warriors in their building, Spurs in theirs. We could beat ANYONE in December. Then we came back down to where everyone thought we would be. A few games over 500. This team is who they were projected to be. Look at our roster. A superstar that has yet to prove he can play at another level when it counts. James has talent. I don't question that. But, I am not sure he has the nerve. What do we have after that? Some streaky shooters. A string bean for a center. Nene has been a pleasant surprise.

We are still 2 up in the loss column for the 3rd best record out of 32 teams. How many expected that before the season started. We should have the 3rd seed in our pocket. I mean damn. If we can't beat Phoenix and Sacramento then we don't deserve it. Those two plus Utah is not winning out gives us the 3rd. Does it suck that the warriors tell the rox to make them a sandwich after bending them over a table for a go? Yes. It does. But the Warriors are a superior team. Period. 4 all stars vs 1.

It pains me to say this but it is realistic. I think we take the first round in 5 or 7 and probably fall 4-1 in the 2nd.

I'm not worried about losing this game. No one should be worried about losing this game. We should all be worried about Harden's health though. These past 3 games have been terrible for him. After that terrible fall against OKC he hasn't been the same. He was already playing hurt, but it wasn't bad. Not bad enough to completely kill his game. That fall made things a lot worse.

    OKC: 22 points (8/15, 2/8, 4/5)
    Warriors: 24 points (5/20, 1/9, 13/13)
    Blazers: 30 points (11/30, 2/13, 6/7)
    Warriors again: 17 points (4/18, 2/9, 7/7)

Obviously his bad shooting becomes worse when playing against Andre and Draymond, but our MVP aint right, fellas. Our MVP is dying out there and there's nothing we can do about it.

Harden and the Rockets brass are stupid. He should have sat out this entire road trip and would have had a week + rest and 6 games to sharpen up before the playoffs. we are locked into the #3 seed. These games dont matter in the grand scheme of things.. Now.... he has hurt his MVP case and he has hurt his team with this poor play... and his wrist hasnt healed up... shame on him.

Exactly one year ago today we were 37-39, JB was our coach and Brewer was playing heavy minutes. Things could be worse. Much worse!

What's our record with Hardens bad wrist?

Until I hear it's healed, that's the only record that's relevant.

True, we beat them without Durant but that was very early in the season, they hadn't meshed as a team yet. Now, with all the chemistry they have, you should definitely be discouraged.

Correction we bested them with Durant, so this loss isn't discouraging at all. When we had a key injury even if people don't like anderson hes key to this teams success .
