Actually those are the only games I would be against sitting him. Fans pay good for those tickets. Sitting him against the kings would be fine.

First off I don't think Harden would go for it
Second I don't think MDA would do it, if he tried, it could mess up a good thing we got goin now
If his wrist is hurt, hell yeah, trim his minutes some, hell yeah. Under 25 would be nice. But he and PatBev r setting a great example.
My vote is Hell No. Homie don't play dat

I want to see harden in the playoff. Let him take rest. Morey may sign other player who can play for some minutes not like Troy Williams always in DNP mode.

I was one of the people that voted "no", but after seeing last night how bad his wrist really is, I've changed my mind.

    Shut him down.

Yes James is chasing a MVP. That is cute and all, but that isnt going to do anything for the Rockets come playoff time. If he is hurt and favoring his wrist then he will hurt us in the long term. The best thing would be to sit out this entire road trip, and then play almost a week+ later after we are back home. This way, you only miss 3 games, and then have another 6-7 games to get into game shape and still make your case for NBA MVP. I hope the Rockets take this approach, seems like the most logical, if they dont, and he gets hurt or doesnt heal then SHAME on this organization.

    Don't want to get rusty.

Then we'll need time to gel again.

Just reduce his minutes and rest on b2bs.

Think he should play tomr against Portland and Friday against Warriors and get 4/2 off against the Suns so he'll have 4/1-4/4 to rest and play Denver on 4/5

He should rest if the 3-seed is locked up. There is no point in risking further injury to his shooting wrist in meaningless games. The playoffs matter more than an end-of-season, won't-affect-our-seeding game against Denver.

It's not up to me, but if it was I would sit him against Portland, & start him in GS & see how he looks.
We really need a win against GS before playoffs

I kind of want harden to rest, clearly he needs to heal that hand. How many games has he missed?? No body can say anything if he takes the rest, the guy has played all season.

Maybe you can sit Harden against the kings, but imho Harden should play as much as possible, jist reduce his minutes.

You can't sit him out long because the team still needs to gel, Lou and Harden and Gordon need as much time as possible to develop chemistry for the playoffs.

The magic number for the 3rd seed is 3 fittingly. The Rockets are all but assured that spot at this point. The Jazz still have a game at San Antonio and at Golden State(although it's possible that won't have any meaning to the Warriors since it's near the end of the season). Meanwhile the Rockets have a game at Phoenix(who are trying to catch the Lakers), at home vs Detroit(who are in a freefall), at Sactown, and home vs Minnesota(who will have nothing to play for on the final day of the season).

Harden should sit. It isn't going to better with him playing.

His wrist is clearly getting worse as he keeps playing on it.
