Neither WB or Harden are great on defense but neither are absolutely horrible. They are both probably below average defenders. But their offense is elite of the elite, especially Harden.

Robertson is a great defender - not the best in the league or even top 5. And he's absolutely horrible on offense.

Right, that's why Roberson is not an MVP candidate. But to me a great defender with limited offense (such as Tony Allen or Ben Wallace) is still far more valuable than someone who is mediocre on both ends of the floor like Ariza is. I mean what does Ariza do for us exactly? He's a mediocre shooter, mediocre defender, and a horrible passer. If you're going against the Cavs, Spurs, or the Warriors, do you really prefer Ariza's mediocrity across the board over Roberson's elite defense who at least has a shot at slowing down LeBron, Kyrie, Kawhi, Curry, Durant, Klay etc?

To Kobe's credit, he keeps talking about both of them...

Jalen and Steele just kept talking about Westbrook.

This game is probably it. Harden needs to win for MVP.

Rarely see the Rockets on European Primetime, so I'm looking really forward to this. Let's go Rockets!

Windhorst on SC had a reasonable discussion this morning: "in 95% of the seasons in NBA history, one of these guys would be the hands-down unanimous MVP, the only problem is they're doing it in the same season." He said he still has no idea who he would vote for if he had to today. I can respect that.

I didn't hate analyst Kobe as much as I hate analyst TMac. He actually may be pretty good if he decided to go down that road.

Musecage, Canvas City or whatever the hell that was, may be the worst thing I've ever watched. Please let this be the first and last time we're subjected to that.
