He will will be the fill good story of the year. Man crushes his deamons on his way to a life long dream. He does it not only for himself but his young family. Becomes a motivational speaker for the rest of his life after he finishes his career in 6 years with 3 rings... Watch it going to happen.
LeBron makes everyone that plays with him look better. I have no doubt that this will happen with Sanders too.
Morey was more interested in the Sloan Conference and going to Europe. He is self centered and not "real" about bringing us back towards the Finals. Cleveland, on the other hand, is focused on doing whatever it takes to return to the Finals.
You're 100 percent right The idea that a dude who has been out of the league is just going to come in ... And in two months work himself into nice form is just idiot . He's not gonna be better than Clint, not gonna be better than Nene , not gonna be better than Harrell . He MIGHT ,however , be better than Onuaku ( if it came to that ) The dude was not good his last year in the league .. I know he had personal problems . Sure he's tall and long , and used to be fairly quick. But I don't know if he could ( even if in top shape ) guard laterally on the perimeter as the meta calls for today.
You will understand more after the Lifetime movie is aired about his comment to being a champion and his overwhelming love for the sport. Poor childhood and drugs are no match for his enter champion (he can help you find yours, too). He will be the keynote speaker at your next event. Watch this silliness really will happen in a few years.
A 73 win team feels the need to sign a former MVP. Golden State started this. It's an arms race and I for one don't blame him a single bit.
I'm disappointed the Rockets didn't even give him a tryout. He will do well for the Cavs. I just don't trust Nene's health.
Larry Sanders will likely never play in the NBA again but he made out ok on the whole deal. He's a dude and he should probably take up bowling and have fun living off of his past success and stuff, because that's what real dudes always do in the end. We quit while we're ahead.
