1. Calderon is better than Bobby Brown. (As are many others). 2. Calderon is a legit playmaker who takes care of the basketball in addition to being a great shooter.
I haven't kept up with Tiago Splitter since he left San Antonio but wouldn't he be an ideal fit if he were to be bought out? Has his game fallen off that far?

Calderon to replace Bobby Brown for min is fine. Great injury insurance, and perhaps we convince him to sign for min next year if he likes the team. Just wouldn't want to get Calderon with our cap, while keeping Brown therefor taking up a roster space for a big / contributing player like Bogut or Casspi etc.
Looks like Calderon's headed to the Dubs, who just released Briante Weber. BTW, I really like Weber as a defensive dynamo and he appears to have improved his shooting a bit. Might be worth a peek.
