OK, I totally understand the Sapp, Bonds and Kobe entries. I can understand Shaq because of the way he whines about being picked on. And I can understand Scottie because of what he did in Houston. But why DC and AI? I find Iverson to be one of the most genuine sports figures out there. He is incredibly undersized but plays like a giant, he comes to every game, he plays hard and he respects his coach. I can't dislike him just because he puts off a gangsta image. If I was that size and could dunk like that I would feel like a gangsta too. Mike Martz is an idiot and the DC one I just really don't get. The two recievers are just really arrogant. But I don't have a really big problem with them because they don't try to fight old men like Sapp and they aren't raping teenagers like Kobe. They are just being idiots which in general I don't have a big problem with as long as it isn't hurting anyone else.
Then you would have to go to the proctologist for a bat removal. Not that I am a big Malone fan, but let's not get illusions of grandeur.
I e-mail and snail mail the chronicle every monday asking them to please hire anyone else than Fran Blinebury. My only conclusion as to how he got the job he has is that the editor is gay and Fran likes the taste of salty whipped cream.
Did the idea ever cross your mind that perhaps he rooted for a team that the late nineties Indians took out in the Playoffs. Kind of like how everyone here hates Karl and John, but if you ask around the country these would never be most hated athletes.
