Sign him to that 10 day contract he joked about...he'd outrebound anyone out there tonight for the Rockets.
momentum incoming!!! time to beat those boys from orlando when we honor hakeem!!! don't you dare lay a fookin' egg rockets
We won this game tonite. That made me happy. But I am not confident we can go WCF. Harden definitely tried very hard on defense this season, that's really positive.
Must win game tonight, with all Rockets legends present and the team almost lost it...to a game without Jimmy Butler! This is all fatigue, the entire team is worn out so Harden feels like he's the only one who can carry the team so eh's been taking too many shots ala Westbrick. Of course Harden has been efficient unlike Westbrick but still you can see why OKC plays below expectations every year, when one guy hogs the ball it drags the entire team down. What needs to happen is a trade for a dynamic scorer, we need another perimeter guy who can go off any given night like Gordon. Wilson Chandler, Gallo, Butler, etc. give me one of those guys and the Rox will be good for the year. If we can also swing for a big man like Robin Lopez you can put the Rox right up there with GSW, CLE and SAS as the contenders for the ring.
Missed most of the game...but those were some terrible calls down the stretch of the OT...Harden and MCW should both have gotten fouls for that btw. And goodness gracious we really need a rebounding presence...
1st, congrats to the players for digging deep and pulling out a win in a special Rockets day. 2nd, Morey has got to bring at least one player that can significantly contribute to this team. In the crunch, I see Harden and Gordon, and nobody else. Contrast that with Warriors' foursome. Failure to improve this roster may mean an easy out for some team, even a first round opponent.
I'm glad they woke up just in time to pull this win out of their ass. But they need to start playing good defense the entire game and not just for brief stretches. And for God's sake, Morey needs to make a deal for someone who can grab a rebound. BTW, I think the Rockets are now 12-1 on the 2nd night of a B2B.
