Smoove is well liked on this team and he is capable of taking over games in playoffs. He is certainly capable and proven success coming off the bench. He is an inefficient stretch 4 and small ball 5 but in MDA offense his role would be clearly defined and efficiency improved, just like everyone else on team.

Larry Sanders is boom or bust, worth risk for cheap. Capable of being another triple double threat alongside Harden. No one else on roster has that pedigree or production.

And Jimmer and Lance would be end of bench players, think Ennis, Bobby & KJ. Break glass in case of injury only. All of these guys can be disposed quickly and painlessly if fit and chemistry go awry, without having to throw away assets like future picks or player rights. Then take whatever we can get for Brewer, Ennis, KJ and Onuaku.

Or go the other direction and play the young guns. Figure out who's better between Tokoto and KJ, play that guy behind Ariza. My money is on Tokoto. Have Wiltjer back up Ryno when he's out. Call up GP3 to back up Bev. Our rotation needs to expand, instead of shrink, especially when we have guys not playing. Otherwise we are only aggravating injury situation by exhausting our healthy players or worse get them hurt.

I can't understand why Wiltjer hasn't got any spot minutes, especially when Ryan got sick. His offensive ability is too elite to ignore. Dude is lights out.

He is a rookie and may be (or is) a defensive liability, but his shooting and offensive awareness are off the charts. Put him in coach!

Coach said at the beginning of the year he keeps the rotation tight. We're also blowing huge leads, forcing the starters/role pleyers to play minutes that the young kids should be getting. Brewer's got to stay on the bench, even if it means KJ gets all his minutes.

WE ARE TIRED . WE HAVE TIRED LEGS .

Edit. Dantoni just complained about the schedule and our players being tired ......

    THEN ****ING EXPAND THE ROTATION

If you play KJ 15 minutes a game , that's 15 minutes a game that you can rest bev Gordon and harden .... You can't do it every game , but then in games where you need them they are fresher

I think they should try bobby brown. Bobby brown plays well in CBA. Bobby statistic is better than Michael Beasley. I think bobby is better than Brewer

Yeah, we should start giving these starters major rest... like Pop... he lets the bench play vs. lesser teams a lot and rest his peeps for the playoffs. That's how you build a dynasty.

Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni speaking out about the schedule. "I'm sure every coach is saying this, [but] our schedule has been ridiculous," D'Antoni said. "It's been ridiculous. We started it by going to China [in preseason] and they've been pulling and been pushing. ... That's ridiculous what they're asking these guys [to do]." Rockets have played nine games in 15 days, including three sets of back-to-back games. After Saturday, Houston will have played four games in five nights.

I totally agree we are tired and. We don't have a deep bench that can make up for it. We are 1-2 players short right now. Would like PJ Tucker and Millsap. Cant win with tired shooters need depth.

Need to trade KJ if we're never gonna use him. KJ + a pick could land us a player that can at least crack the rotation..

We need to add another player in the rotation in exchange for Brewer, then increase Dekker's minutes.

I'm fine with Harden at 35mpg, Gordon at 30mpg, but Ariza needs to be around 25-30mpg as does Bev. Capela, too. Anderson 30mpg is good, but Dekker should be around 20mpg, Nene or Harrell 15-20mpg, and another rangy forward with range in there for 15mpg.

The game would be completely change if you substitute Brewer in for someone basic like even Covington. He'll hit 35-40% of those 3s, not carry the ball and force 1 man weird fast breaks, and blow layups.

    Ideally, something like this:

    Capela-28mpg/Harrell or Nene-20mpg
    Anderson-30mpg/Dekker-18mpg
    Ariza-28mpg/Rangy Shooter-18mpg/Dekker-2mpg
    Harden-35mpg/Gordon-13mpg
    Bev-30mpg/Gordon 18mpg

If we get Brewer the F out, and get a legitimate 3pt shooter, our worst perimeter shooter is technically Dekker. That's kind of freaky, lol.

We don't have salary OR desirable pieces to get Millsap and the Suns want a first round pick for PJ Tucker.

I really wish we could get Noel at a reasonable price. Would love to see the two-headed beast in the middle of Capela + Noel. Unleash the Noela!

Should have went hard to get Noel and Covington in December when Sixers were on the rails as a team and organization. A first rounder and KJ, Ennis or Brewer would have been a pittance of their current value.

Still wold like to add them or similar players but it's going to cost twice as much, at.least.
