ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Raptors 1/8/2017

Rockets coming closer to their truer form. It would be great to see how they perform against a great team in Toronto. Anderson looked pretty good last game while Gordon and Harden shot poorly and may look to bounce back. Raptors do well in the 4th and rockets will need to hang tight, they seem to have a habit of giving away leads.

 

I don't even know how on earth is Toronto a good team. They got Lowry, a good player, but no superstar in my book. Derozan is a playoff choker.

Yet, year after year, Toronto is near the top of the eastern conference. Can somebody more knowledgeable irt to the Raptors explain to me what makes that team so special?

 

I think this is a win for Houston. Toronto is on a 2nd game of a back to back. OT against the Bulls with a limited rotation with all of their starters playing over 40 minutes! Vegas has the line at Houston -2.5.

I hope we get off to a fast start and never look back. We are the better team no question. We just need to execute at a high level.

This is not a joke. What's up with Harden's shooting lately? He's reverted back to the worst version of himself that I really loath (laying bricks + turnovers)

 

True, I mean he only drained 9 threes four games ago. SMH

Lowry and Derozan are two of the best non super stars in the league and the east sucks.

 

Harden has a history of going off in Toronto. last time we played there he had 45 points and got us the win

Gordon will be hot tonight since his 3pt shooting was so bad last game. Harden should shoot better tonight too, since he has been 4 for 26 the last 3 games. They need to get back in their groove.

I don't understand why Beverley isn't taking more shots. I wish he would quit passing so much and just take the shot, especially when the others can't find their shot with a telescope. They just need to dawn the black jerseys, and come out with guns blazing to the amplified music of Back in Black by AC/DC when they enter that stadium.
