He got a triple double in both games against the Spurs and the double OT against GSW. He also had 41 points and 15 dimes against Cavs with only one TO. He might not always shoot as well, but 99% he is doing well overall.

If we were a real contender, this thread wouldn't be in ALL-CAPS and it would say:

[Calm Down] Sitting at .750 and 3rd Seed.

One of these days, we'll be good enough to have a Calm Down we're 3rd Seed thread. Right @Os Trigonum

Amazing run, I think we are 3rd in the NBA behind the Warriors and Cavs, and rising.

Games against the Cavs, the first 2 Spurs games and the GSW game weren't statement games to me. No one was checking for the Rockets. No expectations. The Rockets were surprisingly competitive in the eyes of the media. Harden played well in those games.

The only statement game this season (IMO) was the OKC game. A match between two MVP candidates tied in the standings; Rockets were rolling; It was time to get revenge on OKC after choking earlier in the season; game was on ESPN and the narratives were changing. Despite the box score Harden looked awful.

Tuesday will be a huge game, a true statement game. We know the story lines. Will Harden show up? lets hope so. I bought salt for my crow. I'm ready to eat.

Really don't understand this line of thinking. You're saying hanging with the TOP teams of the NBA aren't statement games?

If that's not making a statement, I don't know what is.

When someone hates Harden or dislike him, they will find any little reason to bash him. The Warriors and the Spurs were on national tv and Harden showed up.

Wow big news, didn't see that coming.
Although they are actually quite good without him, but it's a chance for us to really gain some ground in the top 3 battle.

that dude is injured and regularly misses month or 2 every damn season...Harden's durability is hugely underrated He and LBJ are simply on another level among superstars(knocks on the wood)

Can we just paint the floor each game to match the visiting team's home court colors? Maybe it will help Anderson shoot.

This is the team's Homecourt X'mas game, I guess. (last homestand before x'mas) hopefully they feel that way gametime
