Nah, they can do some minor maneuvers to open up enough cap to go for a max player during the off season. Dmo's value as a trade chip is overrated anyway. Morey may win some small upgrades if he only focuses on squeezing values out of every player under his control, but he might end up losing the big fishes if he becomes too obsessed. DMo's value as an asset is nothing compared to Harden's and D'Antoni's reputation to attract top level players to sign with the Rorkcets.

As a big Dmo fan, this sucks. Not at all the way I envisioned this to end, DMo could have been a good contributor to this team and letting him go UFA is like losing him for nothing.
