You guys are still sour over the loss of Dmo. Brown is a very capable scorer and would fit in nicely off the bench. Gary Payton is a rookie who still needs to work on his game as much as possible. He would not get the chance to do that here at this point in his career. Brown on the other hand is a vet with lots of experience with the league and it's players. Plus you can never have too much scoring.
Brown is such a terrible player. Reminds me of what my friend said about the football team... "Only time you find the Browns in the Bowl is when you take a crap."
Can't we sign a better vet like Dahntay Jones or Dorell Wright who can actually play 2/3 position as opposed to 1/2?
He hasn't had one good game as an NBA player, and as a vet what you see from himnow is what you'll get. A guy like GP2 has shown he can already defend at an NBA level, the fact that he's young means he will continue to improve. If we get him now and lock him in the basement hitting 100 3s a day maybe next year he'll be ready to compete for backup pg minutes. Brown oth....
I think you guys are underselling Brown quite a bit.. ... with the blowouts we're having I think he can become a 4-2-2 player in no time.
STILL not sold on GP2. I know he had 1 monster game in RGV. But just seems like KJ part II for now. All defense. No real shot. And in MDA's system, guards need to be able to shoot (just ask Tyler Ennis. LOL)
