What a beautiful tribute. We were lucky to have him. Imagine he was a Spur for all those years. I shudder at the thought.
Classy move by the organization. Guys like Scola, Battier, Yao, and Mutombo make me proud to be a Rockets fan.
Rockets really screwed over Scola. Those were some harsh words Scola said in that video about this organization and their #dirtybusiness.
Didn't they give him a tribute video before when he was with PHX? I remember Dragic looking mighty envious when they showed the video In fact they used the same Band of Horses song from the last Scola tribute video. The name of the song is Funeral. Wonder if the song is trying to indicate something? EDIT: I was right!
Not a bad idea. We did cut bobby brown. Can we trade some conditional second and/or the right to llul for him? Or do we not have cap space to fit him in?
Man I loved those Adelman teams so much. One of my favorite Rockets players of all time. I would take him back on the bench over Brewer any day.
Scola and Battier were two of my all time favorite Rockets Scola could do everything besides dunk and make the popcorn
love Scola...one of the best basketball guys the Rockets ever had in terms of determination, heart and professionalism. Hope he gets to suit up in a Rockets uniform one more time before he retires. Yao McGrady Scola Battier Lowry artest that could've been a championship team without the injuries... too bad.
Luis's people owned Morey when he was up for a new contract. They played the more money in Europe card plus Les more or less told the Chron Morey had to re-sign Scola.
