Unless there is some CBA wrinkle, your $120MM price-tag seems a bit conservative: Olney also reported that rival execs expect CHC to be "all-in" on the Otani pursuit. I do not think we will be serious Otani contenders. By the time he hits the FA market (2019ish), we'll be so focused on paying our own core that I don't think we'll be able to compete with NYY, BOS, LAD, and CHC. All signs point to his price being absurdly high.
