Those numbers and he still got non-tendered. Kind of remarkable how the system works to make teams not to want to risk arbitration. Carter just doesn't fit well with our team, but he is similar to Napoli.

White Sox guy who post almost nothing but White Sox stuff breaking a deal that has nothing to do with the White Sox. I think he is posting this based purely on Rosenthal's hypothetical tweet and his desire for the Sox to get Bregman and a crap load more for Sale.
Kind of skeptical about those tweets. Not that I don't believe them but usually the Astros keep trades/FA signings rumors behind closed doors/close to the chest.
I really hope Springer stays, I don't think they need to include him to land Chris Sale. Martes or Paulino, McCullers or Musgrove, Reed, Feliz/Cameron/etc could make it happen This could be potentially one of the best lineups in baseball history CF Springer 3B Bregman 2B Altuve 1B EE SS Correa RF Reddick LF Gurriel/Beltran/Fowler C McCann/Gattis DH Gattis/Gurriel/Beltran Marisnick, Marwin, Teo/Aoki Sale, Keuchel, McCullers or Musgrove, McHugh, Morton, Devenski, Martes or Paulino, maybe Feliz, Fiers, Rodgers/Whitley maybe in a year or two. They could still have the 8-9 arms teams need to win over 162 games.
