I honestly think we could be 11-3 if we could take back the lapse on opening night and took our chances in OKC. Who knows how we will look in a month or 2 months but good early signs
They're still a middle of the road playoff team, but the coaches are maximizing the talent that they have, and beating the teams that they're supposed to beat. Capela seems to have made a mini breakthrough since that nice Utah game. Dekker has forgotten that this is really his rookie season. I'm starting to warm up to this bunch.
In fairness, D'Antoni isn't making any rookies look good. Onuaku isn't playing. It's the second and third year players who are starting to shine (and Dekker was injured and recovering most of last season and Capela was already starting to look very good last season). It's difficult to say how much of their contributions can be attributed to coaching vs. their natural development.
We didn't get to .500 until late December last season. We should win our 10th game 3 weeks before last season. So it's positive to see them putting the offense together this early in the season.
