Seriously...this guy is the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER.... His team is **** without him. Trade harden to GWS warrior and i guaranteed he will average 25ppg and 20 assist a game. The man is just that good.
He's the MVP of the first 8 games for sure, but it's an 82 game season. Let's relax and watch it play out . We are blessed to get to watch him each game.
James Harden is the MVP as of 8 games. He is just that talented. He is playing less selfish this season(about time). Harden is looking to constantly set up other players.
This is total BS. How is Hill's 20.7/5.8/3.2 better than Harden's 33.7/14/7.3? Harden's worst night was better than his best night.
You don't just win MVP throwing up stats. I can't even remember the last time someone was named MVP that wasn't on a team with a 1 or 2 seed in their conference. Unless you guys really think the Rockets are going to be atop the Western Conference, he has virtually no chance regardless of the stats. The wins have to come with the stats or they will just be looked at as empty stats. That's how the voting usually ALWAYS goes.
Moses certainly did. If he averages 30 and 13 and 7 and the Rockets stay over .500, I just can't imagine anyone else getting it.
He is the most value to his team than any player is valuable to their win%, and he has been top 3 in that area since he became a Rocket. This man guarantees you playoffs no matter who the other 14 players are. You trade him to the Sixers for their best player, they will make the playoffs eeeeeasily. No one else does that but Lebron. Harden will go into a shooting slump very soon I think, and people will cool down about him, but they will be forgetting that this guy is a freaking monster. What a player.
If it was baseball, he would be. It's the only sport where the person that deserves it ever gets MVP.
he has teammates that can actually shoot this year. He could have averaged 10+ assists in previous years as well. Ryan Anderson, Eric Gordon sneaky good moves for this team. Not a big splash but shooters this team needed. Harden's drive and kick out will be deadly this season.
You have to be an complete moron to think his stats are empty. The Rockets have played 7 of their first 8 games on the road and they sit on top of their division regardless of such a handicapped start thanks to Harden averaging 34 points 14 assists and 8 boards on the road.
It will come down to team record. If we don't finish top 3 in the Western conference, I say his chances of MVP are less than 20% despite the gaudy stats.
It's a matter of team success. If we end up as a six seed, Harden unfortunately has zero chance. Gotta go out and get the wins.
