You nominated a complete embarrassment for president and she lost to another complete embarrassment. Do a better job next time.

I didn't vote for him, thanks. What if I told you, I could be disgusted by Clinton - without voting for the other guy? Think about that.

Still waiting on an actual Hillary supporter (Major, Deckard, Sam?) to come give their thoughts on Clinton's demise here.

Here is the election. There wasnt a swell of mystery Trump voters, there were a bleeding of democratic voters staying home. Trump recieved less votes that.

Clinton has around 59,230,000 votes. Trump around 59,023,000

    Compare that to 2012:
    Obama
    65,915,795

    Romney
    60,933,504

    2008:
    Obama
    69,498,516

    McCain
    59,948,323

6.5 million 2012 Obama votes disappeared. That is the reason. She could not motivate them to vote or they just didnt want to support her.

Trump support is actually really bad, however it was in the right states.

Wikileaks providing a peak behind the curtain, I don't know how much of their sources are some kind of hack and digital infiltration as opposed to just internal informants or or their spouses. Regardless it's wielding more influence on a per instance basis than the press ever could.

Separately and probably more straightforwardly, in addition to not appreciating the solid South, they just missed western Pennsylvania and that whole River Valley culture. I don't know if that's residual ACA resentment from threatening one of the few luxuries working class whites can secure over others, or just non-professional males and family-oriented females rekindling their age-old dislike of her professional roles. Clearly they needed a more concrete economic plan for that region and more visits and ad buys; but a northeastern state with two large, diverse metropolises and one of them part of one of the tri-state regions should not be expected to break Republican in a presidential vote.

I don't think too many people were Hillary supporters. But they felt that Hillary would at least stabilize the presidency given the alternative. I was not a Hillary supporter, but I was and am absolutely terrified of trump.

The idea that the economy should be controlled by big business rather than the middle class is something I am fundamentally against. You may want to suck off the teat of big business, but not me.

That's fundamentally why the republicans are terrible at building an economy, in a nutshell. And why the economy is always worse off after a republican presidency, without fail.

Here's an interesting perspective on liberal delusion and group think. It has some amazingly on point thinking and surprises, IMHO.

    http://thebaffler.com/blog/2016-liberal-odyssey-alvarez

I am most taken with the idea that we assume societal progress (a suspect claim) and that we, without question, see ourselves "on the right side of history," whatever that means. It's an arrogant and ultimately debilitating assumption.

Uhh, Trump's voters voted for Trump BECAUSE he was explicitly racist.

In red states, rural exurban women said "sure he's a creepy molester maybe . .. but at least he's got whites on his mind"

Bernie is not getting these voters ever.
