I have the Firestick with Kodi and I could use some guidance on accessing the best sports channels and live streaming. I could use any tips or recommendations you all have.
What sports, American major leagues or soccer Euro stuff? What do you want to live stream. Pro Sports for American sports though.
My problem lately is it takes 10-15 minutes to find a working stream for live sports if at all. I mostly hunt through Sports Devil sources. For now that includes NFL, NCAA football, and European soccer (being the easiest).
My box came in about 2-3 weeks ago. forgot to update this thread. I was able to put a usb keyboard mouse combo on it, makes it work so much better than the remote. I downloaded DishAnywhere and am able to stream my parent's Dish account now like it's it's own receiver!

For live sports, I've had some good luck recently searching for Reddit subforums full of streaming links and adding the subforums to the Castaway addon.
So I'm apparently an idiot. How do I download a skin for Kodi on the Kodi app on my Xiaomi MiBox? Do I have to go to Kodi site and create an account or can I do it from the box?
Got my fire stick about 2 months ago with kodi installed fully loaded. Haven't really tested out the live sports yet but movies and shows work great. I'll probably test it out this weekend with rockets vs. grizzlies.
Sports Devil has been awful for me the past month or so I couldn't get any links to work so I would have to either look at things through my desktop using an app or I would look through phoenix and find a link through there

Is it true that adding these "unofficial" skins/add-ons opens up your network to security issues? The official Kodi team talks about them like they are viruses with security issues with some things that can't be fully uninstalled.

Bought one of these, just because I was curious, and it would be nice to have Kodi in another room. Everything I am seeing online says it's pretty good, especially for the price. The shipping will probably take a couple weeks, but I will post some feedback on it after I get it. Thanks man!
@LCAhmed Have you watched 4K on this or anyone? I have a 4K tv with dish, holding off on upgrading to get 4K source. I mostly use Kodi and Netflix. Will I get 4K?
@ptR91 I have not used this for 4K. I don't believe you'll get 4K out of this unit. Best I've seen on Kodi is 1080P streams, Netflix I don't believe will support 4k stream on this either. Mostly (from what I remember) is that 4k netflix is for PCs and 4K TV with Netflix apps.
