Did I miss the part where b_allholic tells us about the "Yule C"? I think I've been waiting for almost a month now.

It obviously means Dmo isn't returning to the team until Christmas. "Yule" like Yule tide. "C" like Christmas.

I thought your post would end like this:

"Every time I read one of jopatmc's posts, a little part of me dies."

BJ Armstrong got lucky to make one all star team, he's even luckier to manage to be an NBA agent... horrible bluff call smh

Any real news on Dmo status?

PS Every time I read the phrase, "See my sig," I rep Clutch for giving me the ability to turn off signatures about ten years ago.

When does the first batch of 2016/17 checks start to be issued for NBA players? Oct 30th right, or is it just the first week of the season? I assume that's D-Mo's D-Day to take it or leave it. Leave it meaning go play in Europe or opt to miss paychecks.

I also think the whole thing yesterday about "Dekker looking good at PF" was also a message out to D-Mo... that "hey, you are coming back sooner or later here, but the longer you wait the further down the depth chart you'll likely be". The fact that BJ Armstrong hasn't been fired by D-Mo yet is also a mystery to me.

??? The smart play now for DMO is to hope someone gets hurt on another team with playoffs hopes that causes them to risk a multi-year deal on him. Rockets are playing hardball. BJ is playing hardball. Only thing they've lost is the QO. Granted, I would have taken the QO, but Rockets may have a slightly better deal already on the table.

Why would anybody wish or hope for someone to hurt. That's a classless act and a disgrace to every player to play this game.

If that were to happen they would only give him a contract for a year.

    Fire BJ, eh?

    Laughable. #udontunderstand

BJ is going to wind up looking good and effective and increasing his profile among the players when this is through.

Most likely resolution here is a sign-and-trade.

While I understand it's only preseason, the Rockets have shown some great chemistry. I love DMO, but I would hate to see him return to the team as a disgruntled player and prove to be a distraction.
