And on that note. I'm going to go ahead and say that's the season. Kept me busy till mid August and now it's football time In Houston
Well let's see. LMJ most likely done for the year and Dallas channeling his inner Tony Sipp throwing meatballs. Post season light is dimming. Frustrating being a Houston sports fan. Stros need work. NBA has become boring with all this p*ssy super-team crap where players hang up their sack to go join a well established team. Just a hoot.
Keuchel may need to miss a start or two. He has been way too hittable. The twins pounded him too. He and Fiers are our bottom 2 starters.
We need an NHL team. Hockey is a cool sport, similar to football in some senses (which is why I think it would be successful here). It's absurd that random southern cities like Nashville, Sunrise Florida, Tampa bay, and San Jose have teams, but the 4th largest city in the US doesn't.
Keuchel had 20 wins last year and Collin had 19. What will they end up with this year? There is your main 2016 vs 2015 difference
The Astros really need Dallas and Colin to finish strong so they can use them as trade chips in the offseason. Getting stuck with a long term expensive extension on either will be bad for roster building. With a good September, the Astros could still fool someone into giving them an Ace return on Dallas.
Rangers win on a walk off hit by pitch. 27-8 or something in 1 run games. Unbelievable How lucky can they seriously be
Altuve, MVP-wise, doesn't need playoffs.. but the farther we fall, the lesser the chance. Stros record vs .500+ has been a nice (and relevant) theme recently.. sadly, I think easily miss the playoffs. The Rangers H2H record and lucky-ass 1-run record is just an extra slap to the face. Get healthy quick Vally. Get promoted quick, belated Gurriel. Keuchel's s***ness didn't help either.... although 7-1 (strikeout-walk) isn't a punk.
i don't think it's luck for the rangers. as charlie p says, they just have pro hitters up and down the line up.
