A contract issue? Bad on Les.

We should take this as an opportunity to get new jerseys and a new mascot. Perhaps bring Turbo (or someone similar) back. New era of Rockets basketball.

I didn't get the bear thing at first, but the guy was so good he won you over. I have been to games in the bad years when it was more enjoyable to watch him preform than the crap we had on the court.

It appears most of you did not hear that Tsingtao beer has bought the rights to Clutch the Bear so Les can pay for his two, soon to be, injured stars. Clutch the Bear will now be Clutch the Panda Bear.

Thanks for kicking ass as Clutch, Mr. Boudwin. You were awesome, really enjoyed your work.

The dude left willingly. No one fired anyone. There's only so many years you can act like a child and dress as a teddy bear. Not that there is anything wrong with that, he's pretty much been successful doing what he did. Now he wants to be successful doing something else.

He wasn't fired but it probably wasn't his choice either. Going from a job that provided him a nice 6 figure living to one as a marketing consultant isn't something people do with a large family.

21 years is a great run but like you say the Rockets thought it was time to put someone younger and probably cheaper in that Bear suit.
