Just cooked in mine for the first time ..threw in about 3lbs of country style beef ribs, tossed in an onion and some sauce and 26 min later they were fork tender and delicious..Should have bought one of these years ago, this thing is amazing
Repped for the Instant Pot. Dead easy to use. I had no idea this had quite a following. Last Sunday I cooked Lechon Asado which has been enough for several meals throughout the week, and the parents-in-law have been using it quite frequently. Looking for ideas on what to make this weekend. Great recommendation, glad I took a chance on it!
BTW - Amazon is doing a secret product launch at midnight on July 31st. Don't know what the product is, but Amazon Flex sent out an email to drivers mentioning they could deliver the item between 12 PM - 2 AM
I cooked a Peach Pork Loin in the instapot and it was fantastic. Seared and then pressured. It was a breeze to use, fast, and easy cleanup.
Dang , maybe I'll cancel returning the pressure cooker. Sounds like I just need to suck it up and start using it.
I bought a sous vide cooker and prepared some steaks, and they were perfect. Chicken breast was good too. Going to prepare some hamburgers with it tomorrow.
Any pressure cooker is worth it IMO. I have a traditional pressure cooker and cooked a solid half a brisket(about 5 lbs) in it and it only took 1 and 1/2 hours. Came out juicy and tender.
