Really wondering with Morey's clear message of our rotation of Bev, Harden and Gordon that many 'better' and younger PGs are not willing to come here. Especially for the minimum!
This is definitely a chemistry signing. To those of you upset, I'm sure last year Pablo would have played a big role in our team not entering the despicable demise that it did. This will help tremendously, even if it is not always on the court. Great glue guy, great signing.
Pringles & Prigs. I like that. Spread PnR allllllllll day. Prigs is a PnR maestro. Pringles is a PnR guru. And it looks like this year we'll be getting open 3pt shots off the PnR to...wait for it.....actual good shooters! Behind Spoiler: MDA explaining the "unguardable" pick and roll. Eh, you wanta back the Prigioni yes? Two year deal heh heh! I run pick n roll all day while I tossa pizza dough yes? Eh, I teacha Harden how to runa the Pringles show. Don't ask me to shoota the ball though ok? My arms are too old now, too much pizza dough, can't makea the three pointer!
Based on his performance with us, good move. Based on how he looked last season, bad move. By the way, since we have Gordon and Beverley who are prone to injury, we are definitely going to give him minutes and good luck be damned if we don't have him playing 20-30 minutes in the play-offs due to a season ending injury. Based on that alone, it's a bad move.
If Pablo is the worst player on your team, then you have a really good team. Unfortunately he is not the worst on our team. Like the signing. Hopefully he becomes our future coach after Mike D says something stupid to Harden.

I just don't understand the hostility towards this move. He's going to sit at the end of our bench and if he gets to play at all you can bet he won't make stupid mistakes. It's like having an assistant coach that can get on the floor on occasion to change the pace. If they were giving him big dollars or promising him big minutes I'd be very concerned. They aren't. He's a good locker room guy and a smart/savvy veteran playmaker. For the vet minimum you could do worse. p.s. if Morey signed some unproven but high potential d-leaguer or player out of the russian league (ala Bev) this forum would be complaining about no name scrubs that will never amount to anything. I'm convinced there is no winning with you guys.
Didn't read the first 10 pages, but I'm guessing most don't like the move since he's old or whatever. I like the move. For a guy at the end of the bench that isn't going to play much I'd rather have an experienced vet that can provide a good locker room presence than some young scrub that just got waived. I'm assuming he signed for the min or something around there. Not much you can really do there. Getting a good team guy that knows the MDA system is fine by me.
