Well this is a repeat, and I was criticizing him for doing the same thing again. Go all in on Horford and miss out on other FAs. If you are going all in on one guy atleast try to setup the meeting at 12am or first thing in the morning. Now if he turns us down like Melo did, we are screwed.

I don't think there's any doubt that players have concerns about last year's implosion.

Coach fired after 11 games, Lawson doesnt work out, interim coach embarrassed himself, team barely gives an effort on D, chemistry sucks, then we hire a no defense nba coach .

Also Harden gains 30 pounds, has off court distractions, regresses on defense, sets turnover record, goes from mvp candidate to not making an all nba team, doesnt get along with the other star on the team

It's no wonder we went from a prime spot that Howard came to to a place where we can't even get meetings with guys like Conley

Don't really understand how an afternoon meeting with practically zero media coverage can equal going "all in" on a guy.

Especially considering they have already had a meeting with another FA, and they have another one scheduled for tomorrow.

You seem to be lost buddy. This is a Rockets fans forum, i think you are in the wrong place.

Its one thing to be negative about the team outlook, but actually rooting against us??? This site is not for you....

Chris Broussard reads this tweet, then drops everything and runs to the nearest courthouse.

Please let Dwight sign with anywhere but Dallas.

It's hard to think of a worse fit for this team

Please let Dwight sign in Dallas, that team is going nowhere, it would be great if they went nowhere offered Dwight a max in the process and took themselves out of contention for serious free agents next season as well.
His reputation is a bit unfair, and I like the guy, but free agents don't necessarily want to play with him and would make Dallas an even bigger FA repellent than they already are.

LOL you are a true idiot again. Lin's value decreased a lot after two years alongside harden so that Rockets had to get rid of him with a 1st round pick.D-Mo is never a near max player and not even close, Asik's break out year was before he came to Rockets and he left Rockets with lowered value. Parsons would be a max player with/without Harden anyway, he took starting job as a rookie 2nd rounder even before Harden became a Rocket. Only guy benefited from Harden was Beverly, who doesn't need the ball and who never will become a big offensive threat anyway.

And the guys you mentioned are from Harden's first year as Rockets. Since then Harden became a much bigger ball hog. Just look at acquisitions after Harden's 1st year and see how many reached or exceeded expectation and how many turned into bust.

If we are talking about all positions, I'll go with Corey Brewer.

Just looked up any recent news on Rondo. Apparently no one wants the NBA assists leader....unreal. Yeah, he's occasionally a malcontent, but he plays hard when on the court. Guys who play the game of basketball far worse than Rondo getting huge contracts and no one even wants to sit down with this guy.

For the record, my best guess is ...

    Rockets get Bazmore

    Horford resigns with Atlanta.

Rockets trade Ariza and Bev to Cleveland for Love

Rockets sign a backup center (Zaza?)

    Rockets sign Llull

    Rockets match DMo

That would be an awesome plan honestly but I don't see Cleveland giving up love that easily

Is that what you are guessing or hoping for? If Cleveland did not win the title, sure. They aren't trading Love this offseason.

I'd be perfectly fine with this. While these moves make sense, a couple of them may be out of reach.

I know there has been a lot changes. But I think the biggest factor is culture change. Somehow the unselfishness, cohesiveness among teammates since Yao era is lost in recent years. Only money might persuade some FAs to sign, but Les is cheap.

We're probably offering horford the max. It's not enough

I mean were a team that need to hire Lucas to help players. Who wants to come to this?
