not saying im mad-, but are the Rockets going to be mentioned with anyone? Who do you think they will meet with on July 1st? will Harden be there
Les firing the head coach and allowing a r****d like JBB to run a playoff team shows how stable we are. Probably a big turn off

Probably meeting with Ryan Anderson, JLIN, Jared Dudley, Chandler Parsons, Marvin Williams, Rondo, DWill, Jennings. That's probably really it. We'll walk away with Anderson, Dudley and JLin IMO. Should be good for a 6th seeded first round sweep. So long as we keep LE$'$ "winning" record going. Did you know we are the 3rd winningest franchise in the NBA over the last decade?
As you've noted, teams play "switch everything" on defense now. Simply put, even if we surrounded Harden and Fournier with Kahwi Leonard, Draymond Green and Hassan Whiteside, our defense would still fall apart because teams would run pick and rolls to get favorable switches onto Harden or Fournier. You can somewhat hide 1 bad defender but it's impossible to hide 2 bad defenders (and while I haven't watched Fournier play enough to judge, Harden is actually worse than bad on defense). Fournier is the kind of player you trade Harden for (hopefully getting some other assets back as well) - they're not a good fit together.

I guess two bad defenders might be too much to cover for. Watching the finals it was interesting to watch the teams running PNR to get a switch on Irving or Curry. Who knows, get a better scheme and get one of them buy into defense, could work. Dudes only 23 and
Sign Whiteside ($20 mil per) Resign Dmo ($10 mil?) Sign Dudley ($10 mil?) Bring over Gentile ($5 mil?) Trade Ariza and Bev for Dragic Whiteside / Capela / rookie Dmo Dudley / Gentile Harden / Brew Dragic / GPIII Not world beaters, but an improved, versatile lineup. And hopefully it leaves us with enough money to make a run for Griffin next year (or a couple of tweaks away). More along the lines of a 2 year plan.
