I'm interested to see what they do next year. Assuming varys was successful, dany will land with the support of house Martel and house Tyrell not to mention her own massive army. Unless they just hit reset on the Lannister issues that tywin mentioned, that should be a route even if euron sides with her. The only true wildcard I guess is Littlefinger ultimately betraying house stark again and siding with cersei. Otherwise I don't see how the game is interesting anymore beyond whether jon and dany fight or hookup.
Didn't say I didn't like the show, its great. Just not much intrigue left really. Last season will in the grand scheme play out quite predictably. That's not a terrible thing. No reason to get your feelings hurt. Jon will marry Daenerys. Also loved how Petyr Baelish and Sansa looked at each other at the scene where Jon was being appointed King of the North. Petyr is going to up to no good.
That might be one of the best episodes of anything. Absolutely loved it. My emotions were on a rollercoaster. Rooting for Cersie to clean house and then hating her at the end. Just wild. Can't wait for next season.
he's gonna marry his aunt? is bran gonna come in with the news at the last second Dustin Hoffman The Graduate-style? doesn't seem like that would happen, because at some point there would be a reveal, and then where would they go from there? "ooooh gross, i married/screwed my aunt/nephew!"
Targaryens traditionally marry their siblings so Jon marrying his aunt would be in line with family tradition.
The Jon Snow reveal would have been cooler if it wasn't already a well known fan theory. I wish I never came across it.
I thought Lyanna Stark was suppose to be a great beauty, that looked like a Frey girl in the bed. This lineage of the crown is confusing. I thought Jaime would be first in line after Tommen's death if a Lannister was going to be crowned. Though I do understand Cersei basically staging essentially a coup on the Iron Throne.
Had you read the books, you'd have come up with it on your own. They didn't give you as many clues in the show as they did in the books.
