The thing that troubles me most is the rumor that the owner wanted D'Antoni because he envisioned Harden being the next Steve Nash. I pray to the basketball deities that this isn't the path Houston is heading down. For now, I'm still holding out a sliver of hope that Morey will have an amazing offseason and this somehow all works out.

I have had my signature for decade. I can't believe JVG and MDA will have both been Rockets coaches--from opposite sides of the stylistic spectrum. That said, it takes a management team to be successful. Les, DM, the new coach, and the assistant coaches need to be on the same page. Success is possible.
Mike D'Antoni with his Italian connection could be huge in us recruiting a superstar player like Alessandro Gentile to come over.

I'll pass Judgment once I see the new Roster of players. After this move of hiring Mike D'Antoni I expect Morey knows he will need a massive overhaul on the roster of current players if he expects to mold a team for Mike.
So I guess we're just going to waste the rest of Harden's time under contract. Okay then. I'm so done with this team. Wake me up when they're in the WCF... if that ever happens again under Les.
