I'm more impressed by the fact he's dunking more. Those stats were similar to stats he had before he started playing in the NBA. I'm eager to see how his game has changed, though. Will he be more physical? Will he get called for fouls that Shaq never gets called for? Will he be more aggressive with the ball in the post or will he continue to pass out when midgets are guarding him? Come on season... hurry up and start...

that efficiency is through the roof!

from what ive read, yao outrebounded the japanese team who only had 20. He played with much disrespect, dunking on the japanese center with authority many times. I hope he can bring the same attitude over here.

Yao's 5th games in 5 days? What kind of schedule is that? Dont he have like 2 more games back to back on Tuesday and Wednesday? China low score today isn't a surprise since they must've all been damn burn out.

Great pictures.Yao looks aggressive and I love to see him dunking with authority. He needs to bring that attitude in the NBA.

Wow... nothing like playing against the Japanese to bring out the rage in Yao, huh?

Product of year of animosity or what?

I think it is either 7 or 8 games in 9 days. Crazy schedule if you ask me.

Pretty rough schedule, luckily most of them have been blowouts. From what I read, Yao is only playing most of the first half, 20-25 minutes a game.

    Just add a stat.

Yao had 9 dunks in 26 minutes of play. Among them, 2 blocked one miss.

Umm... so what was the final score? China vs Japan, I mean, not Yao vs Japan.

    Thanks!

That's something I don't like, how can Yao Ming be blocked twice on a dunk by some Japanese players!

I think that should tell people something about one man teams, like China.

Why would his game have changed? He's spent the whole offseason with the Chinese NT, the same team he's played with for years.
