Barkley is so stupid, but I think we have all known that for years now.
It's not shocking anymore when he says things that are just incredibly dumb as hell. It's more annoying and sad that he has the power of being on tv to spread his stupidity to the masses and he gets paid for it.

Those teams actually have decent starters/role players who can make wide open shots, dribble etc and much better coaching. Not sure how you can even compare or agree with Barkley.

What other superstar players did Harden have next to him to help in any way or take a little pressure off him with scoring or having to handle the ball so much so they could play better team ball?

    Dwight? lol

More than half the Rockets players around him can't even dribble the dang ball or hit a wide open shot that he would create for them lol

Their basketball skills this season had nothing to do with them not liking playing with Harden. They all regressed badly skills wise, along with the coaching.

Never tuned in. Didn't care. DID NOT CARE. The team didn't either. No effort, no pride, no character, no skill. The sooner we flush this turd of a roster the better.

    REBUILD.

Starting with the coaching staff. I'd look higher, but Morey get's a pass for one more season. But I would hope for someone added to the front office to be in charge of player evaluation. Someone with basketball knowledge to ensure the players acquired fit the scheme in place.

Harden stays, but to be honest, no other player gets an automatic hold card. I know folks like Capela, Harrell, Bev, Ariz to varying degrees, but each have such a significant hole in their game that you can't rely on any of them.

New scheme, new roster, new on the court, in the locker room, and on the practice court leadership. New uniforms, new motto. Restore my interest in the team.

BS. The first three years of Harden with this team, the team has played well. Last year Harden did so good he should have been the MVP. The fact is we surrounded Harden with guys that just could not shoot this year. Last year they shot well, but this year they were ****.

The team doesn't like playing together, period. You *can't* put that *all* on Harden. Some blame, sure, but not all of it.

That clips of basically the entire roster bricking threes was just a perfect encapsulation of this season: bad roster to fit completely inappropriate system with a turd of bad chemistry on top.

Thanks, org. I have really never been embarrassed to be a Rockets fan before.

That sequence and us missing threes shows should've opened some eyes, but unfortunately Leslie will stay the course. Guess he believes in magic like Dwight..

Lol Chuck...that's why what you hear/read from those analysts needs to be taken with a grain of salt, they just can't/don't follow enough all the teams, so most of times they just say what they think, which is bs.

Happy to see that Feigen tweet about Harden though, i think he'll be back strongher than ever next year, this group was done...

Any news on BJ being fired / released or will this clown Mauri give BJ an extension just like he did with McFail after the Portland humiliation?

Players are the problem, not the system. In case you didn't notice, the Warriors shoot a ton of threes too.

What we need are guys like Ryan Anderson

Rockets played exactly like they did in the Preseason. Rusty shooting, no communication, no hustle, no care, no chemistry. It's like 82 games didnt happen.

I have to applaud the players for not visibly getting upset at each other while on the court for their mind boggling decisions and plays. I'd prob be yelling at a teammate, pulling him to the side, at least talk strategy, get someone's attention, light a fire under someone's ass. I applaud our players for not doing that.

I am so happy this season is finally over. I've been a Rockets fan since I was a child (I'm in my 40's). They are my team. The only team I care about really. I love basketball. I coach basketball. And I have watched all of one full game this entire season.

I simply won't watch a team that doesn't try, doesn't work hard, and doesn't play defense. You can suck but you can't suck with no defense, no effort, and no heart. This team was terrible, and every time I would start to watch, I would have to just turn the TV off.

Here's to hoping we have a successful off-season and come back ready to play next year...

dribbling the ball to within 35 feet of the hoop and somehow shooting a 3 is NOT an offensive system. or maybe in ymca it can be called a "system".

flailing your arms and trying to get calls is NOT an offensive system. or maybe in ymca it can be called a "system".

other than these 2 things, what offensive "system" have we put in place?

just bc its not a system from your pov doesn't mean it isn't one. its obvious what the rockets predicate their offense on in their system. if you dont really know then you dont follow the team enough. it doesn't need to be said it didn't go well this year but showed plenty of success in years prior. so yes its still a system
